Volunteering on a Friends International Medical Team can transform young people's lives and impact the trajectory of their future careers. Over the years, about two dozen young people who have volunteered for our medical teams have been so impacted by the experience of volunteering in a clinic in a developing country that they've pursued education and careers in health care and medicine.
